Later, we will continue to Midelt, where we will have some free time for lunch. Then we drive to Merzouga via the Tizi-n-Tilghmt Pass and the Ziz Valley. Includes stops for panoramic views.

After that, we travel to the Sahara desert of Merzouga in the afternoon. Where you transfer to camels to cross the sandy desert. You will halt on top of a high dune to watch the sunset. Finally, you proceed to the camp. This is a hybrid of traditional nomad tents and hotel-style elegance. You can enjoy Berber drum music while dancing around the campfire beneath a starry sky. Dinner and stay at the campsite.

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the lovely sunrise in the middle of the desert. Free time for breakfast. Then you ride camels back to Merzouga, where the driver awaits. Then we leave the desert to explore Rissani, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains a key trading center in the region.

After a tour around the Rissani souk, we continue to Erfoud to visit one of the fossilized marble workshops. We next drive via Touroug and Tinjdad palm fields to reach the Todra Gorges. The course of the Todra River has sculpted a spectacular red cliff-sided canyon across the mountains. These gorges are perfect for rock climbing.
