Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga (Sahara Desert)

Your tour will begin with a pick-up from your hotel in Fes, and then you’ll head out towards Merzouga. Along the way, you’ll pass through many charming Berber villages, such as Ifrane and Azrou, where you can stop for a short break and take some photos.

You’ll then continue towards Midelt, a small town famous for its apple production. Here, you’ll stop for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, you’ll continue your journey through the Tizi n’Talghamt Pass, which offers stunning views of the Atlas Mountains.

In the afternoon, you’ll reach the city of Erfoud, known for its fossils and famous for the annual date festival. From here, you’ll continue to Merzouga, where you’ll spend the night in a traditional Berber tent in the middle of the Sahara desert. You’ll have the opportunity to take a camel ride into the desert to watch the sunset and enjoy a traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Tinghir – Fes

 

On the second day, you’ll wake up early to watch the sunrise over the dunes of the Sahara desert, an experience you’ll never forget. After breakfast, you’ll head back to Erfoud and then on to the Todra Gorge, a stunning canyon that’s over 1000 feet high. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to go for a walk and take some photos.

After lunch in the nearby town of Tinghir, you’ll continue on to the Dades Valley, where you’ll see stunning landscapes and fascinating rock formations. You’ll then make your way back to Fes, where your tour will end.
