Upon arrival at the Tangier airport or your hotel, your private driver will take you on a scenic drive to the charming town of Chefchaouen, also known as the Blue Pearl of Morocco. Chefchaouen is a picturesque town nestled in the Rif Mountains, famous for its blue-washed walls, narrow streets, and relaxed atmosphere. Upon arrival in Chefchaouen, you will have free time to explore the town’s medina, sample some of the local cuisine, and shop for souvenirs.

After breakfast, we will leave Chefchaouen and drive to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will have the opportunity to explore the well-preserved ruins of this ancient Roman city and learn about its history and architecture. Next, we will continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, known for its stunning gates, walls, and gardens. After a guided tour of Meknes, we will drive to Fes, where you will spend the night.

Today is dedicated to exploring the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco, Fes. Our local guide will take you on a walking tour of the UNESCO-listed medina, where you will explore the narrow streets and alleys, visit the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Al Quaraouiyine Mosque, and the tanneries, and learn about the history, culture, and traditions of this ancient city.

After breakfast, we will leave Fes and head south to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. On the way, we will pass through the scenic Atlas Mountains, stopping in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, and the cedar forest of Azrou to see the Barbary apes. We will continue our journey through the Ziz Valley, passing by Berber villages and palm groves until we reach the sand dunes of Merzouga. In Merzouga, you will have the opportunity to experience camel trekking and overnight in a desert camp under the stars.

After watching the sunrise over the dunes, we will ride our camels back to Merzouga and continue our journey towards the Dades Valley. We will stop in Rissani, the ancient capital of the Tafilalet region, to visit its famous market and explore the historical sites. We will then drive to the Todra Gorges, a narrow canyon with towering rock walls, where you can take a short hike and enjoy the stunning scenery. In the afternoon, we will drive to the Dades Valley, where you will spend the night in a traditional kasbah.

After breakfast, we will drive to the picturesque Roses Valley, where we will stop to enjoy the stunning views and visit a rose cooperative. We will then drive through the palm groves of Skoura to reach Ouarzazate, known as the Hollywood of Morocco, where we will visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site that has been used as a filming location for many popular movies such as Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, and Game of Thrones.
After exploring the kasbah, we will head to Telouet, a village nestled in the High Atlas Mountains. Here, we will visit the Telouet Kasbah, a former palace of the Glaoui family, which was once one of the most powerful families in Morocco. The Kasbah is an architectural marvel, featuring intricate carvings and stunning mosaics.
As we continue our journey through the High Atlas Mountains, we will pass by picturesque villages and stunning landscapes. We will make a few stops along the way to take in the views and stretch our legs before arriving in Marrakesh in the late afternoon.
